"I found a way to access parallel dimensions."
I laughed. She didn't.
"You're serious."
"I've been working on this for seven years. The theory was sound, but the energy requirements were impossible. Until now." She pulled out a device that looked like a smartphone designed by a drunk alien. "This creates a localized quantum tunnel. It can send organic matter to parallel versions of our reality."
"Nina, that's... that's insane."
